For more than 225 years it has been our main objective to meet the challenges lying ahead together with our customers. Already our forefathers were noted for their technical innovations and their entrepreneurial courage and we are following in their footsteps.

It all started with the development of processes for the production of soldered copper tubes, which was followed by the successful supply of large quantities of welded duplex pipes later and the development of mechanically bonded BuBi^® pipes. The name BUTTING stands for the pioneering spirit in the fields of welding, forming and materials technology. The production of prototypes for various high-profile applications, e. g. beam screen pipes and half shells for the European Research Institute CERN is only one of the many examples of excellent workmanship combined with technical know-how supported by modern production facilities.
