When you see very complex piping systems, you can imagine how much planing is required and the extent of assembly work. The time necessary for a pipeline assembly can even be up to 50 % of the complete installation time of a new plant.

If a piping system is built up economically and works without a breakdown, it depends on the quality of the planning and the assembly.

BUTTING has its own CAD department with advanced 2D and 3D CAD systems to support the customers in meeting the high requirements of the pipeline con- struction. It is also used for the construction of high quality vessels. The combi- nation of skill and long-standing experience of our staff enables us to improve the quality of planning, to shorten lead times and to reduce costs. Especially during assembly on site, CAD is indispensable. Any changes can be integrated immediately, bills of material can be adjusted within short and invoicing can be done easily.
